Engineering:
Our engineering department at Bedford Machine and Tool is where thoughts are turned into
designs to meet your needs. We have a fully staffed engineering department to meet your
needs with some of the most advance technology in the industry today. Some of the things
we have designed are automated machinery, trim machines for aluminum castings, leak
testers, machining fixtures, gages, and other projects. We also support die repair work
that we do in our facility. We also can reverse engineer items to be reproduced again.
The scope of work we do in our engineering department also includes anything a machine
shop would be capable of doing.
The software we use primarily at our facility is Unigraphics. We have over 10 years
experience using Unigraphics and have very capable operators to use it. We also use
autocad and cadkey for 2d designs. We also run Autoview to be able to view any kind
of software format that is sent to us. With this group of software, we can design and
create drawings in about any format needed.
